I'm bored and just want to have a little fun! So I have one or two riddles I concocted, and I want to be puzzled myself! WARNING: my question crafting is only decent, but hopefully manageable. Rising, falling, Ever calling Working men To and fro; Light but dark, Have two parts, The clock does bend When I lay low. Note: Yes I just made an add-on to this, that makes it easier. Ps. Please don't kill me English majors! me not so good at grammers.... Haha but I also don't mind learning

Oh randomstuff1019, your constant efforts to keep this forum alive are truly commendable. I'm afraid i'm slightly stumped at this time, but i'll give it some thought, and I'll check back in with a guess and maybe even a riddle of my own tomorrow

Okay, I promised I'd be back for a guess, but i'm really yet to have any good ideas. I finished Catching Fire this morning and now its all I can think of when clocks are mentioned (hope that's not too spoiler-y), and a bending clock has flummoxed me slightly. Rising and falling on first sight made me think of tides, and laying low would seem to fit, but I can't match the bipartite bit and working men at all today. Guess i'll have to look again tomorrow!

This probably trivializes it, but here it is: Life then death, life then death. I wait my turns each day. With golden breath I am mid zenith Holding most dreams at bay. PS, thanks for sticking around it's nice to talk to someone (and for me, keep this forum alive!) and I really appreciate it.

I must admit, 1019, you are amazing with riddles! I have no idea what the answer could be... And I'm a sort of novelist.

I'll let you all think on this for a day or so. and I've told this once since then, and had 1 person solve it! Crazy, but it's solvable (although because I wanted to make a poem out of it, I still messed up the meter ) think of the outdoors

Alright, it's been a little over a day so it's time for the answer. The answer was sunrise/sunset. Anyone else have a good puzzler? And no. It doesn't have to be a poem

You probably picked the wrong moment to applaud my dedication I've had a pretty busy week, my sheep have been having lambs, so I've been out checking them at all hours of the night, but I will be on the lookout for a good riddle

It's actually pretty late on in the season for British lambs, we purposefully planned it so we'd be able to get help from the farmers down the road (there's just my sister, mum, stepdad and I and 10 pregnant sheep, which is new for all of us, sheep included!), but it worked out really well because it's been usually cold this year, so they've got a better chance this way we've got two mothers so far, and three little lambs, was going to try and attach a picture but I can't seem to figure out how :/ i'm probably rambling, but my entire house as been fairly sheep-centric lately so it's hard not to be!
