I'm Caitlin, My ultimate vision of success? I guess any scenario in which I am happy, I don't mind about being massively rich or famous. As long as I have good friends and enough money to not have to worry about it constantly I think my life will have been successful.
To the next person, what was the biggest risk you have ever taken?

I'm Tony.
I'm not much of a risk taker, but I guess the biggest risk I've taken is going to University. It was a risk for me because I wasn't sure how I'd cope living as a student. In a way I was right to be nervous as I never really integrated with 'student life', all the partying and stuff. On the other hand I made it to the end and actually got my results today, I got a 2:1 in Politics and Global Governance.
Whats your most personally valuable possession, and whats the story behind it?

I'm Kaylee.
My most personally valuable possession isn't one thing but rather a collection of things, it is my vinyl record collection. I started to collect them last year and have somewhere between 60-80. I love music and I like to have the physical copy. I feel that vinyl is more personal and you are also forced to listen the album from beginning to end rather than skip songs and you here the record for how the band artist intends it.
Question: What is your favorite story (Book, Movie, Comic, etc.) and why?

Greetings! I'm Daymara
My favourite books are currently "The Book Thief" and "The Name of the Wind" though that often changes. The former is one of my favourites mainly because of the subject matter. I have always been interested in history and really enjoy reading things that are set during WW2. Enjoy seems like the wrong choice of words....maybe I should say that it is a period in our recent history that greatly interests me and makes me ponder our purpose here on this planet. The latter was really a surprising new love, because I am not generally a huge fan of fantasy type books. I find them too similar to other things I have read. That one was a breath of fresh air though. Both made me cry, for different reasons. They get a place on honour on the bookshelves.

Hi, my name is Krisztina Something that makes me feel human is simple sitting in a park or bus stop (anywhere public really) and just watching people walk on by doing different things. It makes me realize how different and similar we are. It makes me feel human What is one thing you hope to accomplish in 15 years?

Hi I'm Archie
I love seeing people do things ever so slightly wrong. not in a comedic kind of kind of way but some one repeating an instruction over and over again. It is so incredibly grounding I can't help but smile.
how far is the furthest you've gone? (purposefully ambiguous)

According to the internets, that's about 5500 miles!! <-- ask an ambiguous question, get WHICHEVER ANSWER I WANT TO PROVIDE. ^.^ For the next person, How would you describe 'love' to an alien who didn't understand human emotions? p.s. I'm new to the forum! Everyone be my friend!

Hello, Rachel, My name is DaAe (pronounce it how you like, I've kind of given up trying to explain how it sounds) That's an interesting one, 'love' to someone who doesn't understand it... When I was around fifteen, I told all my friends I was asexual, when asked about my sexuality, because I thought I was. All my friends had girlfriends and boyfriends and were falling all over each other, going on about love, the warm fuzzy feeling in their chests and how happy they were and all that. In this case, I was the alien. Of course, I understood love from a platonic point of view. Love is worrying, love is being angry but still wanting to be nearby, love is being happy when they're happy. But apparently, romantic love is different from all that. I still don't get romantic love, because I've never been romantically in love. So I guess I'll just tell the alien what I've been told: Finding love is like finding your right arm after years of not knowing you only had one arm. Love is being out in a minefield in the middle of an air raid, and not knowing it, or believing you're safe because there's that person out there with you, holding your hand, telling you you're going to be okay. So, my question to the next person: What's an issue you're invested in, that some people think is irrelevant?

Well, mister Alien. There are two kind of love on earth. We have the love humans think they want and the one they truly want. The first one is the most pure desire of possessing other person, for whatever reason. You may find this person beatiful, smart, cool, nice or powerfull, and because of that, you want them. Having them is like a victory for you. People often think this is true love, but it is not. True love is the second type. Its the wishing of happines and sucess for the other. Like, if you see someone so amazing for whatever the reason, that you just want then to do good in life and be fullfiled, no matter what. This feeling often overcomes logic. The people we love may not deserve our love, but we can't control. When we see this person happy, is like fullfiling a part of our own heart.
And after this very very tacky answer, my question for the next is:
Have you ever felt like the events in your life sometimes looks just so logically organized and full of meaning that there must be some reason behind everything? Examples, maybe?

Hi, I'm Alison and I'm actually going to answer the second to last question (no one has yet and I like it ). I live in Australia and the main issue that I really care about it our asylum seeker and refugee policies. It's not so much that people think this is irrelevant but just refuse to see the issue and are often to scared to change anything or help these people because it "might" change the way we currently live. I'm very much a believer that we as a country should be helping these people and treating them the same way we would expect to be treated upon fleeing our own country and arriving in another full of desperation. I don't know if this is an issue in America, but I know hear people want to keep our land our land, and keep the "boat people" away. Our media is constantly treating them as if they are illegal and should be despised even referring to the derogatively as "boat people". I feel like this needs to change, helping more people and accepting more refugees but sadly most of Australia think the opposite. Okay, next question. Do you have a home away from home? Where, why and do you have any stories?

Hello, my name is Lynnette.
I do have a home away from home. I have always felt so welcome at my grandparents home. It was infact my home for a week when I was 5 and my family was moving to a different house we had to crash at my grandparents. I used to stay there after school starting in the 4th grade. My dad had been out of work for a while and my mom had started working from home while trying to find a job. They both found jobs right before school started back and so my grandma offered to keep my younger sister and I after school. Everyday after school my sister and I would come home to our grandparents and ask our grandma to make us each a scrambled egg. After a year my grandma taught me how to cook scrambled eggs for myself (Probably tired of cooking them herself). Who knows how many dozens of eggs we went through, haha. Who is a person that greatly impacted your childhood?

My name is Anna
Brent Marty is a man that greatly impacted my childhood. My mother put me into theatre when I was six and he was my director every summer from then until I was 14. He really gave me the tools to become the actor I am today. I owe him my passion in life. That's kind of a huge thing to owe someone.
If you could be born as a political figure in another time period, who would you want to be and why?

Hello, I'm Maya.
If I could be born as any political figure from the past, I would be Chamberlain during World War Two in order to stop the policy of appeasement with Hitler, and hopefully prevent the Holocaust by the war from actually happening. This is assuming that I will remember what I know about history now. If not, then I would definitely just make a mess of things. Of course, this is not saying that I blame Chamberlain for WWII, definitely not.
If I can't remember anything I have learned In this life, I would come back as a political figure from the Enlightenment or the era of new science with Darwin and such or maybe even the Renaissance. Sorry, I know that's incredibly broad, my limited summer-time history memory is failing on specifics. Basically, I would like to see the times when science really started blooming, you can decide for yourself when you think that is, and maybe help by encouraging development more like the Enlightened despots of the 17The century.
Okay now that I've gone all nerdy on you, a question for the next reply: When was the last time you felt just simple, blissful, happiness, and what instigated it?
