Hi, I'm Maddie. This question should be easy, but it isn't. When I really like a TV show or movie it's because I fall in love with the characters, and that makes it hard for me to see the people acting the characters as actors. That being said, Nathan Fillion played one of my favorite characters of all time (Captain Mal from Firefly), and I loved him in Doctor Horrible's Sing Along Blog. He also plays the main character in Castle--although it's quite silly I watch it with my mom and I have fond memories of him because of that. I'm sure there are technically better actors, but Mr. Fillion will always have a special place in my heart.
My question: "What is your passion, and what got you interested in it?"

Hello everybody! I'm Susan.
Oh Maddie, what a question. My passion is theatre and film. It seems I've always, to some extent, been involved with it.
At primary school, our Drama class had a production that was essentially a mix of Beatles songs. The director clearly saw how much I was enjoying it, and she invited a friend and me to be a part of a theatre group she ran out of school. I was a part of that for three years. Through middle school I met other Drama-loving kids. One was a girl named Kahrynn, who recommended this acting school to me. It's a three-year course, and you study all different kinds of acting and theatre with many different professionals.
To this day I kiss the feet of the Year-8 me, who actually got her butt in gear and asked Mum if I could attend.
It's been one of the greatest decisions I've made in my 17-year life so far. I cringe at the cliche, but I would not be the person I am without that school. I've learned so much about myself, about other people, about human interactions in general. I'm much more empathetic, instead of just sympathetic, I'm able to read other people, I'm able to understand my own thoughts and feelings better. And holy crap, do I know what other people are thinking.
But the stage and the camera - whether I'm watching or the subject - give me hope for, well, everything. They make me feel like everything is possible.
And so I thank the lady who runs/owns the school, I thank all the teachers there, and I am forever in debt to Kahrynn, whom I am still good friends with.
I could go on indefinitely, so I'll just move along ^^
My question: Do you prefer 'light' films [comedy, romance, romcom, family, drama, etc.] or 'heavy' films [psychological thrillers, horrors, coming-of-age etc.]? Why?

Hello everyone, my name's Adin. Anyone who's been here might have seen me, and hello to those new here So Im going to go back and make sure everyone's questions have been answered so far(let me know if I missed yours), so here goes a bunch of answers xD Question:(paradewithanm) What was the hardest thing you ever had to overcome and why was it the most difficult to deal with? Answer: Probably it would have to be the social isolation I felt when I was in middle school. When I had moved into the school district 4 years before, I really didn't fit in. Some of the kids kinda accepted me but more often then not they preferred to hold to their groups of friends. By middle school I had become an embittered loner. This led to a downward spiral, I dislike them for shunning me, and they shun me for not being saccharine or 'normal' (due to not have any normal friends for 4 years). I was eventually able to overcome it by realizing that they would never accept me, so instead I accepted it and decided to be the strange, somewhat funny loner. After a few years, I eventually became the mask I chose to wear. It's hard because it was a change of mindset, and long, lonely struggle. Question:(marissa) Have you ever felt truly heartbroken? Answer: Anyone familiar with the "rules of the Internet has probably heard or "Rule 63" which states that there is always a female version of a male character. I once truly felt heartbroken as I found my (less screwed up) 63, and watched as she fell in love and got married as I sat there....alone and single. Question:(krisztina23) What is one thing you hope to accomplish in 15 years? Answer: Besides the "Wife, kids, and a good job?" Not much. Perhaps to help in a great human accomplishment, like the landing of humans on mars. Or something a little less vague, like learning parkour (my movement style would ahem...flow nicely xD ) Question:(egotista) Have you ever felt like the events of your life sometimes looks just so logically organized and full of meaning that there must be some reason behind everything? Answer: Yes and no. Because my life has felt very boring and sad and devoid of much meaning; it's merely a stage for the play, but play hasn't started. So no, it doesn't feel that organized.... yet. Question:(skcilento) Do you prefer 'light' films [comedy, romance, romcom, family, drama, etc.] or 'heavy' films [psychological thrillers, horrors, coming-of-age etc.]? Generally I like" light" films. I take them as escape from the doldrums of life, and like to enjoy the hope that things will usually work out. That said I really enjoy well written "heavy"stuff so long as it has some relevance to me. As for my question, what is your favorite holiday, large or small, and why has this holiday become more important than all the other holidays?

Randomstuff1019! Everyone's back and I missed it! I'm Lucy, and again i'm a little late (it seems to be somewhat of a trend). My favourite holiday is actually yet to happen, but that feels somehow like bending the rules, so i'll include another one that CAN actually be called a favourite as it has already been experienced. Yeah. In 10 days i'm going to Barcelona for a week with some friends from school. It'll be my first fully unsupervised holiday, and my first one as an 'adult', which i'm sure will be significant, but i'm mostly looking forward to seeing more of a city I was briefly enchanted by a couple of years ago. My friend has rented us an apartment in the centre of the city, right next to a beautiful cathedral, and i'm so looking forward to being completely immersed in a different culture (hopefully). But, to play by the rules, my favourite holiday I have had was when I went to stay in a small shed in the Isle of wight in October when I was 14. My mother, sister and I found on a rental site a converted beach hut with just enough room to cram in a sofa bed, bathroom, and a tiny kitchen under a bunk-bed like contraption. The days we spent there mostly involved looking out at the stormy sea that was right on our doorstep, reading aloud to each other and brief exploratory missions out onto the beach. Especially contrasted with the violent, beautiful storm that raged outside both days, it was the cosiest i've ever been.
(if you feel like sharing) when was the last time you cried? (if you don't) what's the tastiest thing you've ever eaten?

Hi I'm Kales
I'm a little late to the game too it would seem but better late than never. And I'll answer both of Lucy's questions because, why not?
The last time I cried was yesterday when I was heard Talia had passed away and I went online to research her and was deeply saddened, wishing I had known about her and her vlog before.
The tastiest thing I've ever eaten, there are a lot of things and I couldn't name one so I'll give you the most recent tasty dish, was the James Joyce burger at Graften's in Chicago. Great, great, great restaurant and huge burgers with a True Blonde beer--delicious!
Answer (if you dare!): Are you happy?

hello i'm matt. and as the person before me im late to respond, but better late than never i guess. to answer the question no and yes. I am happy in a sense of there are many places my life can go, and its up to me to see through the best option, however im not happy because im almost 22 years old i drink 3 times a week, and the scariest part of all is i have no one to take on this wonderful journey of mine with me. I hope that answers that horrible question of yours Question: what was the biggest inspiration in your life and why exactly did it inspire you?
